The Underwood Agency, Inc. was originally established in 1983 as an Independent Agency serving clients insurance needs in the North Atlanta Metro area. In 1999 The Underwood Agency purchased Burley Roberts Insurance, located in Roswell, Ga., servicing its clients needs since 1958. In 2000 we moved the office to its current location in Alpharetta.

Bill Underwood began his Insurance career in 1978 as an agent with GEICO in Atlanta. In 1983 GEICO decided to be strictly a Direct Writer and Bill started The Underwood Agency. Bill’s expertise in the area of Property & Casualty insurance for over 25 years assures that the agency can identify exposures and develop plans of insurance to meet the clients needs. We are an Independent Insurance Agency. We do not work for an insurance company; we work for you. We work on your side when you have a loss and follow through to see that you get fair, prompt payment. We represent a carefully selected group of financially sound, reputable insurance companies, and we place your policy with the company offering the best coverage at a competitive price.
